Finals and final Research paper

The end of the school year is upon us. Finals are over . The only thing is the research paper that will be due on Wednesday. For those who lost the info, here it is. This is your final grade that grading will be entered. The grading period is officially closed.

Should illegal drugs be decriminalized? – Grade 7
Mr. Thomas.
You are being asked to write a research report on the legalization of Drugs. Some have commented that the war on drugs is not working and criminalization of drug use is just another factor in the majority trying to suppress the minorities. Some suggest that the government should regulate drug use especially since some drugs are currently being prescribed because of their beneficial medical effects. In your paper you will research this debate that surrounds the war on drugs and write from a perspective of for or against the war on drugs. You will examine the criteria for classifying a substance as an illegal drug and whether this criterion is biased in any way.

Your paper must include:

Introduction – introduce paper; tell what your report will focus on/cover.
History of illegal drugs and the criteria that is used to classify a substance as legal or illegal.
The effects of illegal drugs on contemporary society.
Should medical benefits be a criteria for declassification of a substance as legal or illegal
